In Visual Paradigm, shape name is aligned center horizontally, and top or middle vertically, depending on the characteristic of shapes. It is possible to realign the shape name, which is useful for language that is written from right to left, like Modern Hebrew. In this article, we will go through this feature with a diagram constructed with Hebrew alphabets.
Adjusting Shape Name's PositionThe following diagram has Hebrew content. Let's realign the shapes' names to right, following the language convention.
- To change, right click on the diagram and select Presentation Options > Model Element Name Alignment from the popup menu. There you can choose the desired position to display the name.
 - This is the result of "Middle Right". As you can see the names are now aligned middle right.

Besides the diagram-wide setting, you can also set for specific shape. To do this: - Right click the shape and select Presentation Options > Model Element Name Alignment in the popup menu, and select the desired alignment option.
 - This is the result of setting System's name to align top middle.

ExceptionsSome of the shapes are not able to justify name due to their characteristic. There are mainly two kinds of shapes. First, shapes with floating name label (freely movable) or with label not put inside the shape cannot be justified. Actor, Initial Pseudo Node and BP Start Events are examples of this kind of shape.
Container shapes have a limited scope of displaying names since their "bodies" are for containing other shapes, and are not available for positioning names. Package, State and System are example of this kind of shape.
